Hello world,

I am a film lover and computer geek currently working as a director and visual effects artist at Connecticut-based Synthetic Cinema International. I directed my first feature, Banshee!!!, in 2007, which has enjoyed strong sales around the world and a theatrical release in India. I also recently wrapped Oppoent in 2009, a light-hearted scifi/action picture starring Jeremy London and Roddy Piper.

My effects work allows me to direct with post-production in mind and I specialize in producing effects above and beyond the budget of a film. I like to consider myself a visual effects 'hack' (in the Guerilla sense not the Goosebumps sense) and am constrantly striving to improve the quality of the work I can produce. I have created the effects for four features and a number of shorts.

Some of the short films I have written and directed are available on this site, as well as samples of my VFX work and trailers for my features. I graduated from Wesleyan University with a dual major in film studies and psychology in 2007.
