Hello world,

I am a film lover and computer geek currently working as a director and visual effects artist at Connecticut-based Synthetic Cinema International. I directed my first feature, Banshee!!!, in 2007, which has enjoyed strong sales around the world and a theatrical release in India. My second feature, Alien Oppoent, a light-hearted scifi/action picture starring Jeremy London and Roddy Piper just premiered on Chiller and will be hitting DVD soon. I'm currently in post on my third feature, Steve Niles' Remains, an exciting, action-packed zombie thriller.

My effects work allows me to direct with post-production in mind and I specialize in producing effects above and beyond the budget of a film. I like to consider myself a visual effects 'hack' (in the Guerilla sense not the Goosebumps sense) and am constrantly striving to improve the quality of the work I can produce. I have created the effects for four features and a number of shorts.

Some of the short films I have written and directed are available on this site, as well as samples of my VFX work and trailers for my features. I graduated from Wesleyan University with a dual major in film studies and psychology in 2007.
