The Birdcage Incident (2006)
This film was my final project for Sight and Sound, a beginning film production class at Wesleyan. It was shot on 16mm B&W reversal in two days and edited on a Steenbeck. Fun fun fun. There were numerous technical problems and I had no sound kit so I had to shoot the audio with my DV camera. All the effects are done in-camera. Three different cameras were used for this short, as no individual camera would consistently work for more than a few hours!
The film stars Ben Crane and Gabe Fries, who also served as my crew.
