Polar Opposites Premieres on Hallmark

The first of two movies I shot back-to-back in South America in 2024, Polar Opposites premieres January 11th on Hallmark. Emma (Rhiannon Fish) races to get to her father, a penguin researcher in Antartica. Believing he is in danger and with no other option, she stows away on an Antartica-bound cruise, fooling engineer Andy (Markian Tarasiuk) into letting him on board. It’s a fun, heart-warming adventure that explores the icy expanse of Antartica and the habitat of the penguins.

We shot on a cruise ship in Brazil, on the mountains and shores of Patagonia, and on high-altitude glaciers in Peru. It was an incredible experience and continues the tradition of filming in 100% on location in amazing places.

That’s not to say that it’s all real. This movie has a lot of VFX needed to stitch together the locations, put them in Antartica, and tell the story of Hugo and Lola, our hero penguins.
